"The Sunfire's clearly a technical marvel - an amp that
delivers bestial power into any load without breaking a sweat. Even with
all that power, it never sounds harsh and fatiguing." Home Theater Technology
A lack of power commonly creates edginess and audible distortion in many
systems. This is specifically why Bob Carver made the Sunfire 300~two
Stereo Amplifier (a 300-watt-per-channel powerhouse). Naturally, it includes
his Tracking Downconverter power supply that produces unparalleled power
levels into vanishingly low impedance loads while running cool.
Electrostatic/planar type speakers like Martin Logan or Magnepans can
dip to impedances as low as one ohm, while most dynamic loudspeakers typically
range from four to eight ohms impedance. Our muscular Sunfire 300~two
Stereo amp can power them all with ease.
